Breadcrumb

Chrome extension that highlights the most important sentences in any article — entirely in-browser, no server required.

Overview

Breadcrumb scores every sentence on an article page for importance using a TextRank pipeline (with ONNX Runtime Web as a model upgrade path), then highlights the top N% entirely client-side — no server, no account. A collapsible reading path panel ranks sections by signal strength, shows skim and full read-time estimates, and supports scroll-to navigation. Users control highlight density (10–50%) via a popup slider, navigate between highlights with j/k keyboard shortcuts, and give per-sentence feedback (right-click) to personalise scoring per site — all stored locally in IndexedDB.

What it does

  • TextRank + ONNX inference runs 100% in-browser — zero server dependency

  • Reading path panel with section ranking, scroll spy, and read-time estimates
