Glance

Instant component previewer for VS Code — supports React, HTML, and React Native. No dev server, no npm start, just open and render. 5.0 stars on the VS Code Marketplace.

Overview

Glance is a VS Code extension that renders React, HTML, and React Native components in a live sandboxed preview panel with zero project setup. Open any .jsx, .tsx, or .html file, hit a keybind, and your component renders instantly beside your editor. React Native is supported via react-native-web. Glance handles TypeScript, JSX, TSX, Tailwind, and inline styles out of the box — transpiling with esbuild and resolving npm imports via CDN. No local server, no full project build, no context switching.
